I am interested in the how environmental and social factors in the broadest sense affect individual and population health and wellbeing and how health impacts and risks are perceived in society.
I run the Centre for Health Impact Assessment at the Institute of Occupational Medicine.
I have broad experience of public health consultancy and research. In particular I have expertise in health impact assessment, healthy urban planning, community consultation and stakeholder engagement and public perceptions of risk.
